There is growing evidence that group therapy can be as effective if not more effective than individual therapy. That is fantastic news because group therapy is less expensive and can be a lot more fun. The purpose of the groups I created is for the participants to learn from each other and be comfortable enough to share successes, challenges, and failures, while also learning new mindfulness cognitive behavior therapy techniques to manage mood and/or anxiety.

I created a structured hiking and yoga cognitive behavioral therapy group that I have been conducting for seven years. Due to the weather, I run the groups during the summer and fall. Please email me if you are interested in participating in one of the groups.
